Our Mission
Your Life Story, Written — and Preserved — as a Real Book
-
Human-led interviews
-
Private & confidential
-
Hardcover keepsake
My grandfather Joe Woods was the pioneer behind this idea. During his life he wrote down his stories from his childhood, through his time in the Korean War, to the early years of raising his first child. I discovered his book after he had passed, and it was like he was speaking to me from the beyond, telling me everything I’d wished I’d asked him when he was with us.
This legacy book was a gift to me, in more ways than one, and as I writer I felt compelled to share this gift with others and help them craft their own legacy book to share with their loved ones who will cherish it forever.

The Legacy Book that started it all

Most people want to preserve their story, but...
· They don’t know where to start
· They don’t want to write it themselves
· DIY tools feel impersonal
· Traditional memoir writing feels overwhelming
And the other services out there you may have seen on Social Media:
· Don’t ask personal questions and follow-ups only possible in a live conversation
· Are a hassle to keep up with
· Often made with Ai generated questions
How We're Different
A Guided Interview → Written Book Process
You talk. I listen. I write.
· One-on-one recorded interviews via Zoom
· Carefully shaped into a clear, readable narrative
· Written in your voice, not mine
· Delivered as a finished, printed book
The outcome here:
A personal, honest life story — not a transcript, not a questionnaire, not an AI summary.

FAQS
Do I need to be a good writer or storyteller?
Not at all. This process is interview-based. You simply talk, and I guide the conversation to bring out meaningful stories. I handle the writing and structure.
How private is this?
Completely private. Your story is never shared or published publicly. You own the manuscript and decide who, if anyone, sees it.
What if I don’t remember dates or details perfectly?
That’s normal. We focus on clarity and honesty, not perfection. I’ll help organize timelines, and you’ll review everything before the book is finalized.
Can my family be involved in the process?
Yes. Family members can contribute photos, memories, or even participate in interviews if you’d like.
How long does the process take?
Most projects take between 6–10 weeks, depending on the package and interview schedule.
What if I’m not comfortable sharing certain parts of my life?
You are always in control. Nothing is included without your approval, and we can avoid or soften any topic that feels too personal.
